One Way Roofing ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It's written to be read — if anything is unclear, email us at info@oneway-roofing.com.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request an estimate, call our line, or email us, we collect the details you provide: name, phone number, email address, property address, and a description of your roofing needs. If you send photos of your roof, we keep those with your request.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we receive standard technical data when you visit: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring pages. We may use cookies and similar technologies for basic site analytics to understand how visitors use the site.

Job-related information. If we perform work for you, we collect information reasonably needed to do the job: inspection photos, measurements, permit details, and records of the work performed and warranties issued.

2. How we use it

We use your information to respond to your requests, schedule and perform roofing services, provide estimates and documentation, register warranties, comply with permitting and licensing requirements, improve our website, and — if you've asked us to — follow up about your project. We do not sell your personal information, and we don't use it for unrelated advertising.

3. When we share it

We share information only when the work requires it: with material suppliers and manufacturers (for deliveries and warranty registration), city building departments (for permits and inspections), your insurance company (only at your direction, for claims documentation), and service providers who help us operate — such as scheduling or communication tools — under confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law.

4. Calls, texts, and email

If you share your phone number or email with a request, you agree that we may contact you about that request by phone, text message, or email. Message and data rates may apply to texts. You can opt out of texts by replying STOP, and out of non-essential email via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us. We'll still contact you as needed to perform work you've hired us for.

5. Your California privacy rights (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we've collected about them, request a copy of it, request that we delete it (subject to legal exceptions, such as records we must keep for licensing, warranty, or tax purposes), and correct inaccurate information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will never treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.

6. Data retention & security

We keep estimate requests for as long as needed to serve you, and job records for as long as warranties and California contractor-law requirements apply. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information; no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we treat your data the way we treat your property — carefully.

7. Children

Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be flagged clearly on this page.
